There was a significant divergence in market performance in 2015 between product brands managed by BME and other FMCG brands sold in the UAE.
In the Tea category, recently released AC Nielsen figures showed a 6% decline in the UAE market. During the same period Twinings, the flagship brand of Baqer Mohebi Enterprises, showed a 10% growth.
In the Poultry category, Nielsen reported a minor growth of 4%, whereas BME-marketed Banvit Poultry recorded a 60% growth over 2014. BME and Banvit are committed to continue this rapid growth in 2016.
